The Mid-Hudson Regional Information Center (MHRIC) is seeking an individual with strong customer service, analytical and computer skills to train and support school districts with the efficient use of the Financial Management Software in our four-county region. Candidates must have experience using a computerized financial system and experience providing technology training and/or support to others. This position provides general and technical training and support for school district personnel, as well as interfacing with RIC personnel and the financial software vendors. Ability to develop training materials and provide presentations to individuals or groups is required. This individual will also assist with the conversion of data during implementation of assigned applications and completing district import/export requests. Experience in a school district or an extensive understanding of payroll processing, accounting and personnel management systems is preferable. Some remote work may be possible. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organizes and coordinates financial applications for school districts.  Consults with school contact persons for system requirements and processes, orientation, training, technical support, suggestions and other application requirements.  Interfaces with Regional Information Center (RIC) personnel.  This position requires a general understanding of applications including general ledger, accounts payable, and payroll.

WORK SCHEDULE:
This is a full time, 12-month service professional position.
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm

SPECIFIC DUTIES:
1. Trains new and/or experienced school district administrators and support personnel in the use of computerized financial and office automation applications
2. Prepares appropriate documentation for applicationsincluding processing accounting or payroll production for the districts.
3. Serves as liaison for financial and office automation applications for school districts.
4. Provides telephone support, troubleshoots problems and offers support in any of the financial applications offered.
5. Coordinates a user group for sharing common problems and solutions
6.Consults with school district administrators and support personnel on the development, maintenance and effectiveness of applications
7. Recommends system modifications or revisions to vendors and MHRIC staff
8. Prepares materials for meetings and training sessions that support application requirements
9. Works with Regional Information Center staff to improve current services, and develop new web-based services.
10. Trains Regional Information Center personnel on applications.

Physical TherapistJP5466

The Ulster BOCES Center for Innovative Teaching & Learning (CITL) Student-Based Programs is seeking a Physical Therapist for a full-time, 10-month position for the 2025-2026 school year. Experience working with special needs children preferred. Appropriate NYS license to practice and fingerprinting required. All Civil Service rules and regulations apply. 

Ulster BOCES provides programs for students ages five through twenty-one who are identified as needing specialized programs and/or supports according to their Individualized Education Program (IEP). Special Education programs are offered at Ulster BOCES sites in Port Ewen, NY and in leased classrooms in component school districts. They have been developed and offered to meet the specific needs of our students in order to assist them in realizing their potential to achieve both academically and socially.

The following programs are available in Special Class configurations of 12:1:1, 8:1:1, 8:1:2, 6:1:2 and 4:1:2. All classes are staffed by a full-time Special Education teacher and either one or two teaching assistants (additional supplementary 1:1 aides may be requested for individual students as per Committee on Special Education recommendations). Multiple programs are available.

Salary commensurate with experience and training. Salary range: $63,112 to $74,001.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
A physical therapist is assigned to students in special education who are targeted for this service by the local school district Committee on Special Education.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

1.Implements program for children identified for physical therapy services.
2. Analyzes data from physical therapy and other educational evaluation results.
3. Develops short and long term goals, working with other staff within the school to coordinate development of programs.
4. Documents the outcomes to be achieved, selecting the methods and environment to accomplish goals.
5. Prepares and sets-up treatment environment and individual plans each day for children scheduled.
6. Evaluates children in classroom for possible services and/or recommendations.
7. Coordinates physical therapy programs with the total educational curriculum.
8. Assists with the supervision of students.
9. Provides classroom consultation to teachers and staff regarding the identified special needs of students.
10. Assumes other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Clerk, LTHTJP5463

Ulster BOCES is seeking a Clerk for a less-than-half-time hourly position for the Career Pathways Programs. The ideal candidate is courteous and organized, has a willingness to learn, and can maintain a high level of confidentiality.

All Civil Service laws, rules and regulations apply. Fingerprinting required. 

Civil Service Classification: Non-Competitive. Merit and fitness examination does not apply.

Rate of pay: $25.00/hour

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The work involves responsibility for the performance of routine clerical tasks.  The work is carried out in accordance with established procedures and involves entry level office duties which provide support to the function of a municipal department or agency.  The class differs from that of Senior Clerk in that Clerk is the entry level of the clerical series whereas Senior Clerk is the second level having greater responsibility.  Depending on assignment, work is performed under the general or direct supervision of a higher level employee.  Detailed instructions are given for new or difficult assignments.  Supervision of others is not normally a responsibility of the class.  Does related work as required.
